THE ETF20 GUIDE
Know the tokens.
Understand the rewards.
From holding ETF20 to redeeming your share of the basket. A practical guide to the product, the accounting, and the responsibilities behind each distribution.
01 / OVERVIEW
One holding. A share of the basket.
ETF20 connects token ownership with stock-token rewards. Treasury records eligible ETF20 balances, funds a basket of stock assets, and distributes sETF20 shares to those holders.
ETF20 stays in your wallet. There is no staking, wrapping, registration, or token lock. sETF20 is a separate, transferable token representing a proportional claim on the assets held by the Vault.
ETF20 determines your allocation at a snapshot; sETF20 determines what you can redeem from the Vault.
The product vision is a basket of 20 stock assets. The current Vault has five fixed constituents. An expanded basket would require a separate contract rollout; the name ETF20 does not mean that this Vault already holds 20 assets.
02 / THE TWO TOKENS
Eligibility and ownership are different.
| Property | ETF20 | sETF20 |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Eligibility for future rewards | Claim on the funded stock basket |
| How it is used | Held in your wallet at the snapshot | Transferred or burned to redeem assets |
| Staking required | No | No |
| Supply | Managed by the ETF20 token | Increases with distribution; decreases with redemption |
ETF20 and sETF20 do not maintain equal total supplies. The initial allocation uses one share per eligible ETF20, adjusted for token decimals. Later allocations depend on basket backing and Treasury budgets, while redemption burns sETF20.
Selling ETF20 does not remove sETF20 you already received. Transferring sETF20 transfers its redemption rights to the recipient. You do not need to hold ETF20 to redeem sETF20.
03 / FOR HOLDERS
Hold. Receive. Redeem.
- Hold ETF20 in your own wallet.
Your balance at the selected snapshot determines your weight among eligible holders. Connecting the dashboard does not register you for rewards.
- Receive sETF20 after Treasury funds and distributes.
Shares arrive directly in eligible wallets. There is no holder transaction to collect a distribution.
- Open the Vault and connect your wallet.
Review your ETF20, sETF20, stock-token balances, and the basket held by the Vault.
- Enter the sETF20 amount and review the basket.
Choose a partial amount or MAX. The preview shows each asset you are estimated to receive.
- Confirm “Burn & redeem basket”.
The Vault burns your sETF20 and transfers the corresponding stock tokens to your wallet in one transaction. No separate sETF20 spending approval is required. You need ETH for network fees.
Redemption is not tied to a snapshot session or a waiting period. All distributed sETF20 represents the same pooled basket. A successful redemption is irreversible; previews can change before confirmation.

Every allocation starts with a snapshot.
- Snapshot.
Treasury selects a confirmed ETF20 block. The collector discovers wallet addresses and reads their balances at that same block, then reconciles the balances against ETF20 supply.
- Calculate.
The system removes excluded addresses, calculates each holder’s proportion, and prepares a funding and allocation plan.
- Fund.
Treasury deposits every required basket asset. The Vault creates a distribution ID and records the snapshot block, allocation commitment, and reserved shares.
- Distribute.
Treasury sends batches of recipients. The Vault mints their sETF20 within the funded share limit. The session closes when all reserved shares have been distributed.
For example, a wallet with 2% of eligible ETF20 receives approximately 2% of the new shares. Integer rounding is resolved deterministically so the complete allocation equals the planned total.
The current allocation uses balances at a single snapshot, not holding time. Purchases after that block do not change that session. Treasury controls exclusions; Vault, sETF20, zero, and burn addresses are excluded by the calculator, with Treasury excluded by default.
Snapshots, funding, and distribution are initiated by Treasury. There is no automatic schedule or guaranteed reward interval.
05 / SHARE ACCOUNTING
Backed before they reach your wallet.
Funding reserves shares before they are minted. These pending shares are included in the total used for redemption, so an early recipient cannot redeem assets reserved for recipients still awaiting distribution.
If you burn 100 shares out of 10,000 effective shares, you receive 1% of each asset in the Vault, rounded down to the asset’s smallest unit. You redeem the entire basket proportionally, not a chosen stock. Very small amounts can round to zero for individual assets; a redemption with no payout reverts.
How additional funding works
The calculator finds the largest new share allocation supported by every asset budget. Each deposit preserves the existing quantity of each stock token per effective share, with funding rounded up. Unused budget stays in Treasury. This is token-quantity accounting, not equal-dollar weighting or a promise of stable market value.
The Vault does not buy stocks, swap ETH, fetch stock prices, or rebalance the basket. Treasury must acquire the supported stock tokens before funding. Revenue collection and purchases are separate from this dashboard’s funding flow.
06 / FOR TREASURY
Review first. Sign each action.
- Verify the Treasury wallet.
Connect the wallet registered by the Vault and sign the login message. Login is not an approval or a funding transaction. Access expires after one hour.
- Create or resume a snapshot.
Progress is saved. Review the snapshot, asset budgets, and excluded addresses before calculating the allocation.
- Review and approve.
Check recipients and exact deposits. Each approval grants the Vault MaxUint256 spending permission for one stock token. Assets already approved at the maximum are skipped.
- Fund the Vault.
The button becomes available only after review and when every current allowance covers its required deposit. Only the calculated amounts are deposited, never the maximum approved amount.
- Distribute all batches.
Confirm each batch of up to 50 recipients until the session is complete. Save the snapshot, allocation plan, and transaction records. Check a pending transaction before retrying.
MaxUint256 is 2²⁵⁶ − 1. The permission is not limited to one deposit. Review the Vault address and revoke or change approvals when no longer needed. Some stock-token implementations may reduce allowance when spending.
07 / ASSETS & CONTRACTS
Verify what backs the shares.
The configured basket contains the following five assets. Constituents are fixed for this Vault; the dashboard shows actual reserves and redemption estimates.

Use the contract addresses, not just token names or symbols, when checking balances and transactions. The list identifies configured tokens; it does not establish issuer backing, legal stock ownership, or redemption rights outside this Vault.
08 / TRUST & RISKS
Understand the boundaries.
- Treasury responsibility. Treasury selects snapshots, exclusions, funding, and recipients. The allocation commitment provides an audit reference; the contract does not independently verify each recipient’s historical ETF20 balance against it.
- Contract authority. Only the Vault can mint or burn sETF20. Redemption burns only the caller’s shares. The owner can change Treasury, so operator security matters.
- Security. The contracts have not been independently audited. Contract bugs, compromised wallets, and unlimited approvals can cause loss.
- Asset dependencies. Token issuers, transfer restrictions, liquidity, and network availability can affect redemption. If a required asset transfer fails, the redemption transaction reverts.
- No guaranteed return. Holding ETF20 does not guarantee distributions, yield, a stock price, or basket value. sETF20 is a claim on Vault token balances, not a promise of fiat redemption.
ETF20 is not a conventional exchange-traded fund and does not promise to track an index or net asset value. Nothing here is investment advice.
